About The Girl

Not-so-silent observations that splinter my conversations. Harnessing the steady flow of random thoughts and musings that continuously interrupt my daily conversations. Paired here with my artwork and photographs from recent adventures. Non sequitur (pronounced \ˈnän-ˈse-kwə-tər\)- a response which, due to its apparent lack of meaning relative to its context, seems absurd to the point of being humorous or confusing.

“Confess to yourself in the deepest hour of the night whether you would have to die if you were forbidden to write. Dig deep into your heart, where the answer spreads its roots in your being, and ask yourself solemnly, Must I write?”
Rainer Maria Rilke

What would you rather die for than be forbidden to do?

I found this quote and it so sums up exactly how I feel about my ability to write and communicate:

"One of the hardest things in life is having words in your heart that you can't utter."
James Earl Jones

  1. create. anything. if i couldn't i would wither and die.

  2. In a nutshell, about 2 years ago I was becoming increasingly ill...having difficulty doing anything (my hands still shake some) and so I learned knitting. I found that I could at the very least knit some. I never thought of knitting before but I found that it's something that I can always bring with me. Never having to wait in another doctor's office with nothing to do :)

  3. Thanks ladies! Wow! I learn so much about my readers through comments...so valuable!

For me write or communicate openly and honestly my feelings...especially with those I love. Forced silence, lack of open communication or an unwillingness to respond, express or comminicate is very challenging for me...

I am always grateful for your comments. Thank you so very much for sharing!
