Non sequitur (pronounced \ˈnän-ˈse-kwə-tər\)- a response which, due to its apparent lack of meaning relative to its context, seems absurd to the point of being humorous or confusing.
Thanks to my morning Americano and the ever-honest Angie the Barista for the inspiration for this lovely Russian quote...haven't had to break out the cyrillic font since college!
