Not-so-silent observations that splinter my conversations. Harnessing the steady flow of random thoughts and musings that continuously interrupt my daily conversations. Paired here with my artwork and photographs from recent adventures. Non sequitur (pronounced \ˈnän-ˈse-kwə-tər\)- a response which, due to its apparent lack of meaning relative to its context, seems absurd to the point of being humorous or confusing.

SUMMERTIME

Picture summer...

In my memories summers are filled with rolling green lawns, chatty cicadas and mutant grasshoppers, muddy creeks perfect for wading, distant whistles of soccer games, dark thunder clouds and tornado warnings, heat rising from asphalt, endless games of hide-and-seek, cotton covered yards, suicide slushees and grilled cheese sandwiches dipped in ketchup, whole weeks spent pool-side with friends, the smell of suntan lotion and grease...

Colorado summers. Life in urban So Cal is soooo different!

Today I am grateful for a bucket of balls and my daughter, an opportunity to play at the pool and neighborhood ice cream stores followed by swings...

What does your summer look like?!

    What is a suicide slushie?
